Lights, Camera, Macro!


Lightsource Filipino Photographers will gather together tomorrow, September 26th, for the club’s 8th meeting with the theme "Macro".

We aim to capture various images using the macro approach. Let’s use our imagination to create larger-than-life interpretation of things that are either too small and insignificant to catch our attention or almost invisible to the naked eye.

Bring your best macro photo in JPEG format saved in a flash drive, memory card, or CD. Be prepared to describe your photo in at least 10 sentences. As usual, a special prize awaits the best shutterbug.

The officers will also conduct a short lecture on basic photography, so please bring your camera and the operating manual with you. The lecture will be conducted in 2 parts. The second part will be on October 10th.

Agenda also includes introduction of new members, issuance of receipts to paid members, distribution of LFP shirts, and more details about the upcoming Dubai Mirage workshop.

Please bring a passport-size photo for the ID and 150.00 AED for those who haven’t paid the membership fee yet. A nominal amount of 10.00 AED will be collected from paid members and 20.00 AED from members who have yet to pay for their membership. The collected amount will be added to our fund for future activities.
