I've been dreaming of having my own D200 since 2006, but based from the reviews I've read online, D80 has "almost" the same features as the D200, minus the excessive weight and massive size.
Also, unlike the D200, D80 has automatic modes that are proven helpful during parties and social events.
D200 provides a better grip and it's more solid and durable. Plus, I really like its dedicated buttons for Metering, WB, Qual, ISO, etc.
Planning to buy a new DSLR now as I'll be going to Beirut next month for a photo shoot. I don't know which one to buy but I have to make up my mind now.
I can get a brand new D80 kit for 4,000 AED, where as for D200, I don't think that amount is enough for me to buy a D200 body. But I don't mind spending more bucks for D200, if only it's much better than D80.
Anyone here who has used both D80 and D200? I haven't used a D80 so I cannot compare.
What do you suggest, guys?
