These guidelines are made in order to have a peaceful and resourceful community.  Lightsource Filipino Photographers Administrators and Moderators strictly IMPLEMENT these rules and have all rights to edit, move, delete, warn and ban threads and members if found disobeying these rules.

Note that majority of the forums are for members only. To gain full access to the online forum, please register as a member of Lightsource Filipino Photographers.

PROFILES

Username and Nickname
Members should use and will only use their full name as their user id.  Other nicknames are not allowed so that we could easily identify the users.

Users are not allowed to change username without the approval of Administrators and moderators.  This is to avoid confusion on identities.  For special case you can send Private Message (PM) or e-mail the administrator if you need to change username. But the said request will be under evaluation before approval.

Avatars
Avatars are limited to 80x80 and must NOT contain any offensive or obscene images.

In case found that you uploaded an obscene image, the administrator will do the following:
     - Delete or remove your avatar without notice.
     - Issue a warning message will be put to record.

Signatures
Signatures should not bear any graphics and should not exceed font size of 12pt.  If found violated, moderators will delete or remove the said signature without notice.

POSTING
Please use the search function first before posting.  This will help us avoid double posting or having 2 topics with the same criteria.   If you are not sure to with your topic just post it in the “Undecided Topics” and the moderator or administrator will be the one to move it to the specific index.  Redundant topics will be deleted without notice.

Text lingo is strictly prohibited.

Off-topic posts and using the forum for Chatting
Off-topic messages and using the forum for chatting is strictly prohibited.  A warning will be given to members who are found doing this.  All threads are open for opinions and discussions.  But please be POLITE when giving opinions to avoid misunderstandings.  Just put in mind that some users are sensitive to critiques and opinions.  If the thread has many off-topics, the whole thread will be deleted without notice.


POSTING OF PHOTOS FOR COMMENTS AND CRITIQUES
Photos to be uploaded on the forum should not exceed 2MB.  This is to keep our server running in good condition and to avoid overloading.  Also try to keep dimensions of photos medium as much as possible.  

Photos should not contain any foul or obscene image.  For Nude Photography, photos will be under evaluation of Administrators and Moderators before it can be posted.

BUY AND SELL
Buy and sell section is used for trading and selling.  Lightsource is not responsible for any transactions being done in the BUY and SELL section.  Buy, sell and trade at your own risk.  Make sure you know the buyer or seller, got his contact details and address.  Members with less than 20 posts will not be allowed to sell in the forum.  If the seller found as a scam, he/she will be banned and deleted from the forum together with his/her thread.  To avoid confusion, kindly post pictures of the items you are selling and each picture will be given 60 days before administrators and moderators will delete the said item.

The LFP is not related to any stores and sellers posted in the threads.
Piracy will not be tolerated in the forum.
