- To become a leading institution in inspiring people and create future leaders whose life-long goal is to pursue the highest standards of moral, ethical and business responsibility in the corporate world and society at large.
- To become the leading photographic society in Abu Dhabi catering to the interest and needs of amateur and professional photographers.
- To promote photography as an alternative profession which will equally be well accepted and acknowledged by the public and the government of Abu Dhabi
- To establish Lightsource’s position as an institution having the capabilities to improve and develop the skills of its members independently and maintaining the proper ethics in exercising photography as their profession.
- To establish Lightsource as a conduit for the developing the quality standards of photography in Abu Dhabi.
Our Mission :
- To promote the appreciation and practice of photography as an art.
- To provide lectures, workshops, seminars and facilities for our members to achieve our vision.
- To provide a platform for our members to exhibit their works to the public.
- To enrich our member’s skill with regards to the latest technology, equipment, softwares and others forms of media related to photography.
- To contribute to the well being of the society as well as the community using the art of photography as a medium for awareness to our cultural development
- To promulgate the morale and provide support for a team spirit of cooperation among our members.
- To establish a good relationship with the local government and the media.
- To establish good relations with the public and private commercial firms to act as our organization’s benefactor.
- To provide information and knowledge to all members on the latest research and development in digital photography in an effort to increase the competitive edge of commercial photography in Abu Dhabi and also within UAE.
